LIMITATION OF FLOW-RATE

Considering on theory, the treatment flow-rate is unlimited principledly, so if you want to raise up the flow-rate, just adding more treatment modules. However, consider on practice, the systems will work optimally when the flow-rates are less than 1,000 m3/day.

QUALITY OF WASTSWATER BEFORE & AFTER TREATMENT

DESCRIPTION OF TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY OF BIOLOGICAL MEMBRANE (MBBR)

This system use technology of biological membrane with moving media MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor), is one of advanced biological treatment technologies that combine technologies of suspended activated sludge and biological membrane.

MBBR technology includes several objects that carry mixing biological films in oxic tanks. These objects have very large contacting surface area, so the contacting process between wastewater, air & bacteria is improved, therefore it can treat BOD at high load.

So in the same oxic tank, there are types of wastewater treatment bacteria, they are:

  • Sticking bacteria that create biofilm on mobile media.

  • Suspended bacteria that created by air supply at the bottom of tank and the motion of incoming wastewater.

With the high concentration of bacteria in the tank, it will increase oxygen absorption, reduce losses and improve treatment efficiency.

Each biofilm carrying object has different bacteria: inside biofilm is develoment of anaerobic & anoxic bacteria, outside biofilm is development of oxic bacteria. Nitrat & denitrat phases are appeared at the same time, so the retention time will be reduced, treatment efficiency & quality will be improved.

DESCRIPTION OF TREATMENT PHASES OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT MODULE

Package type wastewater treatment systems in FRP material are supplied with almost treatment phases that availably assembled before transporting to the site.

Concretely these modules include:

  • Anaerobic treatment compartment.

  • Compartment MBBR 1.

  • Compartment MBBR 2.

  • Sedimentation compartment 2.

  • Control panel.

Equalization & sludge storage tanks are made in concrete or brick by the owner.

Wastewater from septic tanks run by gravity to equlization tank. Here wastewater is equalization about component and also flow-rate.

Wastewater in equlization tank will be pumped to anaerobic compartment that evenly about the time and also flow-rate.

Here the sticking anaerobic bacteria on mobile media will disintegrate organic compound in wastewater while suspended solids are nitrated & denitrated.

Then wastewater will run to MBBR, where the BOD & COD compound will be reduced and Amonia will be nitrated.

Nitration mixture solution is returned to anaerobic compartment regularly by Airlift pump.

Continuously wastewater will run by gravity to 2nd sedimentation compartment for more clarification.

The transparent water in 2nd sedimentation compartment is ready for re-use as: watering plant, washing road & yard or discharge out.

The sedimentation sludge at the bottom of compartment is collected in sludge storage & disintegration tank. The dregs that can not be further disintegrated will be sucked out by specific tank truck.
